Obiettivi formativi
This course wants to show the connections between facts, memory and aims in Medieval chronicles. How memory selects factrs, how it creates interpretation, ideology and political praxis, as we can see them in medieval historiography, and mostly in Iacopo d' Acqui.

Note
Alcune lezioni saranno in francese o in inglese.
FROM FACTS TO WRITTEN RECORDS.
The texts we will read are - no doubt - in Latin: not particularly hard, but certainly Latin. At the same time, texts are so beautiful that it is worth while making an effort.
Some lessons will be in French or in English.
